Jessops 1800 AFL 3600PRO scannersTwo new digital film scanners are now available from Jessops. The 1800AFL has a resolution of 1800dpi and is available for 199.90, while the 3600PRO - scanning at 3600dpi - sells for 399.90, making it one of the UK's first 3600dpi film scanners under 400.

Models are supplied with a copy of Adobe's latest image manipulation software Photoshop Elements - normally available from Jessops for 69.90 - included in the price.

The press release states that both products deliver natural and accurate colour reproduction thanks to the dynamic range of 3.2 on the 1800AFL, and 3.6 on the 3600PRO.

They also offer a range of features normally only found on more expensive models. These include automatic film loading, and batch scanning - meaning an entire roll of film can be scanned in one operation.

In addition, the autofocus feature automatically optimises each scan to ensure the user gets the best possible results every time.

Compatible with PC and Macintosh systems, both models connect via the easy to use USB connection, with the 3600PRO also offering the option of a Firewire connection for higher speed data transfer.

The new digital film scanners are backed by a two-year warranty. They are available from any of over 220 Jessops stores across the UK, by calling the freephone mail order hotline on 0800 652 6400, or by visiting the secure on-line shop at www.jessops.com.
