Guy Richard Knight charged for photos on Seaford to Lewes trains

A marketing manager from East Sussex has been fined for taking indecent photographs of women passengers on trains travelling between Seaford and Lewes station.

Guy Richard Knight, aged 33, was convicted of outraging public decency and fined £500 at Lewes Crown Court yesterday after being caught filming and taking photographs under tables and up women's skirts.

He was arrested after another passenger spotted him filming a 17-year-old girl and used his own mobile phone to document the evidence and show police. Knight was later reported and, after further investigation, was found to have over over 200 indecent snaps of female passengers taken throughout 2007 and stored on his laptop.

“The victims of the incident said they were offended and felt they had been violated and targeted in a predatory manner,” Detective Constable Bob Cager told the BBC.

He also said that Knight had tried to cover up his actions by pretending to listen to music or text on his phone.
