Honl Photo lighting accessories now available in UK - Flaghead Photographic are now distributing products from Honl Photo to the UK and Ireland.

Honl PhotoPress Release:

Flaghead Photographic have been appointed the exclusive UK & Ireland distributor of HONL PHOTO lighting accessories. A range of brilliantly useful accessories to modify and adapt portable flash units or “Strobes”, as they are known in the US.  Simple in design, simple to use and highly portable! Developed by David Honl, a professional photographer from the USA.

The system starts with a specially designed SPEED STRAP with Velcro on one side and non-slip rubber on the other. This is strapped around the front of a portable flash unit and provides the basis for mounting any of the Honl Photo accessories to the front of the flash unit.  The Speed Strap is designed to fit all portable flash units, current or old.

Speed Strap - The Speed Strap fits almost any strobe, it attaches and removes in seconds, and provides a large wraparound surface area to quickly attach a combination of Honl Photo Gobos, Snoots, Gels and Grids.
Speed Snoot 8" Regular - Concentrate the light from a shoe-mount flash for dramatic cinematic lighting with the easy to use 8” snoot. Perfect for everything from dramatic portraits to concentrating light on background elements. Attaches and removes in seconds using  the Speed Strap (not included). Made of tough ballistic nylon with grey interior that produces a soft falloff. Fits most any on-camera shoe-mount strobe. 8.5" long.
Speed Snoot 5" Shorty - Same as the 8” version above, just shorter. Can also be used as a bounce reflector.
1/8 Speed Grid - The 1/8 Speed Grid has a 1/8" honeycomb cell size to narrow the beam of light from your strobe, producing a small circle of light on your subject (produces a narrower beam than the 1/4 Speed Grid below).
1/4 Speed Grid - As above, but with a slightly greater spread of light. The 1/4 Speed Grid has a 1/4" honeycomb cell size to narrow the beam of light. It produces a wider beam than our 1/8 Speed Grid.
Speed Gobo (Barndoor)/Bounce Card - Good light control is essential when using multiple flash set ups! The Gobo/Barndoor keeps light from flaring into the lens and prevents the light from reaching areas where it is not wanted. The Speed Gobo (Barndoor) attaches quickly to the Speed Strap (not included). Reversible, tough ballistic-type black nylon on one side, white polymer on the other so it can also be used as a bounce card! One or more can be used on the same Speed Strap.
Rosco Gel Kit - A kit of filters to colour or colour compensate your flash light! These superior quality Rosco gels are pre-cut and attach quickly and securely to the HonlPhoto Speed Strap. They can also be used in conjunction with the Snoots, Gobos and Grids. Useable gel area is 2.5" x 4" and can be trimmed to fit individual strobes. Kit includes:
