Leica are to release a limited edition Ever Ready Case for the D-Lux 4 which will be available from the end of November for a SRP of £160. The new Ever Ready Case is made of premium calfskin leather and is designed to hold the D-Lux 4 with its hand grip and viewfinder. The new Leica case has a deep mocha shade and has the Leica logo.

Press Release:

Leica has today announced a limited edition Ever Ready Case for its popular compact digital camera, the Leica D-Lux 4. Made of premium calfskin leather in a rich, deep ‘mocha’ shade, the beautifully-finished case is designed to hold the D-Lux 4 with its accessories (hand grip and viewfinder), and comes complete with an embossed Leica logo.

Thanks to the clever design, the camera can be securely mounted into the Ever Ready Case with a small screw, allowing the photographer to take spontaneous pictures by simply flipping the front cover – without the need to remove it from the case.

In addition, to ensure complete protection for the camera’s optional viewfinder accessory, there is a mini leather case specifically for the viewfinder attached to the shoulder strap.

Used together, the beautifully finished mocha-coloured case provides a stunning contrast to the black Leica D-Lux 4 camera. The mocha case will be available for a limited period only.

The Leica D-Lux 4 Ever Ready Case in mocha will be available in the UK from the end of November 2009 from authorised Leica dealers including the Leica Store Mayfair, at a suggested retail price of £160.
