Lost Ansel Adams photos?
Posted: 30 Oct 2009
$45 negatives could be worth millions - Some cheap prints bought at a garage sale could actually be worth millions.

| Could millions of dollars be on the way to Richard Norsigian? |
Richard Norsigian bought 60 glass negatives which all date back to the 1920s-30s and when he had the negatives developed, his family said the images looked like the work of Ansel Adams. As a result, he's now trying to authenticate the work with the help of Los Angeles attorney Arnold Peter who believes the negatives are worth millions.
According to reports, a handwriting expert has confirmed the writing on the envelopes bought with the negatives is that of Ansel Adams' wife. A meteorological expert has also compared the negatives to published photographs taken at the same location and by comparing certain points of the photographs, the expert has determined the photos were taken on the same day.
The Ansel Adams Trust denies the collection is authentic but this isn't stopping Richard getting plenty of offers for the negatives.
