A photographic society celebrating its 75th birthday this year has won the 2012 Albany Cup Competition.
The annual competition, which is hosted by the Guildford Photographic Society, sees eight teams from the surrounding area submit four individual prints by different members of the Society for judging. After each prints has being individually judged, the four prints are looked at again, this time as a panel of four where they are marked on their overall cohesive theme, colour, harmony, and presentation.
For the first time since 1994, the Reigate Photographic Society was chosen as the overall winner with a panel that comprised of four images of bronze statues.
