Ambient Design today introduces ArtRage 3 Studio Pro to the UK, a simple-to-use software that gives artists the ability to replicate natural mediums such as oil paints and watercolours on a digital canvas. ArtRage 3 Studio Pro contains all the tools found in the entry level ArtRage product, plus many added innovations. The Software is ideal for anyone wanting to create digital art as it is very easy to use, without the need for tuition, but it is still powerful enough for professionals, ArtRage 3 Studio Pro is available for £60.
The ArtRage 3 Studio Pro Mac and PC software is aimed at the artist wanting to simulate traditional tools in a digital medium. It allows digital creatives to paint with sophisticated brushes, use numerous stencils, blend artistic media on the canvas and customise colour pallets. Users have many choices of paper varieties, paper grain and drawing mediums such as oils, watercolours, pencils, crayons, airbrush, chalk and markers. ArtRage 3 Studio Pro also includes an intuitive, scalable and customisable interface and a “canvas puck”, which allows for easy navigation on the canvas and customisable keyboard shortcuts.
ArtRage 3 Studio Pro was created for those who require a professional toolset such as professional artists, animators, illustrators, scrapbookers and manga and comic creators. Ambient Design has developed the software to suit those using touch screens or multi-touch, yet ArtRage 3 Studio Pro still responds to sensitive pressure levels for professional users looking for precision whilst using a pen tablet or mouse.
ArtRage 3 Studio Pro’s more advanced features include a customisable interface where users can tear panels off, drop them onto another screen, adjust their scale and rotate. Advancements to Layers enable users to lock the transparency, allowing layers to be edited without changing the transparency of the pixels. Other benefits of ArtRage 3 Studio Pro include extra image filtering options, more control of tools and colour settings, real colour blending, sophisticated colour adjustment options, Photoshop filter support, a customisable sticker spray brush and an inking pen with opacity, blending and anti-alias control.
A range of stickers have also been created. These are moveable objects which can be placed onto a layer, and manipulated individually or together. Stickers include pebbles, marching ants and different types of hair and fur. ArtRage 3 Studio Pro now supports unlimited text layers, features from Photoshop text layer can also be imported and exported via PSD. Text on a single layer combines fonts, sizes, styles and colours (including metallics), rotation of text and text alignment.
