Andrew Appleton will be running a boudoir workshop at the Village Studios in Bexley with Angela Hudson on Sunday 6 May and Monday 7 May 2012. Also running during the Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday 5 May 2012) will be a dance workshop featuring the talents of model, dancer and choreographer Raine Cera.
The workshop covers several different styles of dance, including ballet and modern, and looks at the best way to light and photograph a moving, three-dimensional subject to retain that feel in a two-dimensional image.

Andrew said: "Back in January we ran our first dance photography workshop with Raine and we are pleased to say that all the students walked away with some fantastic images."
The boudoir workshop, featuring Angela Hudson, will cover both Art Nude and Boudoir photography. More information about this style of workshop can be found on Andrew Appleton's blog
Andrew added: "We are delighted that we will be working with Angela Hudson. Angela is fantastic to work with and is very experienced in Art Nude and Boudoir."
Commenting on one of the Easter workshops Andrew ran, one attendee said: "My overall feedback is that this was a terrific day and a great way to come to grips with speedlights and their uses and potential. The mixture of theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations gave us all great tools to work with on a day-to-day basis and illustrated the tremendous potential and benefits of using this type of lighting.
I also can’t say enough about Andrew and John who created a warm friendly informative and knowledgeable environment for all the participants. The opportunity for each participant to work one-to-one with the model with tuition and help from John and Andrew was a real plus.
In sum, if you want to take the use of speedlights to another level in your photography this course is for you."
All the workshops are priced at £150 per person and include a light lunch. They start at 10.00am and finish at 5.00pm and each course is limited to a maximum of 6 people.
