The AOP Awards LogoPress Release:

Now in their 26th Year, the AOP Photographers Awards are regarded as THE photographic Awards within the industry; and this year’s entrants had the opportunity to enter nineteen categories across Personal and Commissioned Work.

In 2009 the judges have selected 5 Silver Award winners, 23 Bronze Award winners and also the ultimate accolade, the AOP Photographer of the Year in association with Epson.

This award was presented to recognise and highlight the talent of one AOP Photographer who has excelled in this year’s Awards. The AOP Photographer of the Year for 2009 is Karin Berndl. 10 of her images were selected for the AOP Photographers Awards 2009, across Commissioned work within the Still Life category.

All selected images are presented in the AOP Photographers Awards Book which was also launched at the Awards Cermony at Sadlers Wells Theatre last night.
