The AOP have opened the Student Awards 2010 with the deadline for entries set for Sunday 24th January 2010. Entries can either be part of a series or single entries across the various categories.
The call for entries for the most prestigious photographic competition for photography students has now been launched and the run up to the Students Awards 2010 has begun.
Students can enter singles and series across Lifestyle & Portraiture, Fashion & Beauty, Landscape, Interiors & Exteriors and Still Life. One entrant will be selected as the winner and crowned AOP Student Photographer of the Year, receiving a double page spread in the AOP Photographers Awards book, a day’s work experience with a high-profile AOP member, plus extensive press coverage and we may use their winning images to promote the AOP Students Awards and AOP Student Membership.
In addition to the AOP Student Photographer of the Year, two runners up will be given Merit Awards. All finalists will have their winning images exhibited in a 2-week exhibition at the AOP Gallery, London.
This year there will be an online entry system so entering the competition will be an easy and quick process. Students can submit unlimited entries, which means there will be an exciting and diverse range of work entered into the competition. AOP Student members can enter at a discounted price of £2.50 per single entry and £5 per series entry. For non-members it costs £5 per single entry and £10 per series entry.
