Apple Applies For Several Camera Patents - Apple has applied for more patents regarding new methods of altering images on its iPad and iPhone cameras.

Apple has recently applied for more patents connected with its iPhone and iPad camera.
The patents are thought to be for future models of its iPhones and iPads.
One of them involves a method of gesture based configuration of image processing techniques. This looks like it will give the user the ability to change the metering, apertures and white balance on certain parts of the image by touching it where they want the change to be applied.
Another new patent is assisted image capture. This looks set to show the user in some way if their photo is correctly composed by badging it.
A further set of patents involves advancing red eye removal methods. Apple submitted a grand total of five patents on this subject. Apple are exploiting the science behind this technology so as to eradicate red eye in the future.
