Apple's Rival To Photoshop? - Apple has released new patents that show plans for a new image editing software that could rival Photoshop.

Apple patents have revealed that Apple is planning to create a photo editing software to rival Adobe's Photoshop.
The new software will supposedly make it easier for professional photographers and graphic designers to perform tasks by enabling the user to manipulate images with their fingertips, rather than through accessing menus.
This will cut out steps for the user and make it significantly easier to perform key tasks with images. For example, users will be able to pinch and pull and image to size rather than clicking on a menu to perform this task.
The software looks set to be available on most Mac platforms, from Macbooks to iPads.
Take a look at the Patently Apple site for more information on the new patents.
