Apple have told users to angle the iPhone camera away from bright light to avoid pictures getting a purple haze around the lighsource.

In a recent correspondence to gadget site Gizmodo, Apple advised users not to point the camera towards bright light to stop the purple flare appearing.

They added that the haze is normal when the camera is pointed at bright light sources.
