This training day will be a introduction to lighting workshop using the most popular lighting techniques used in the studio, beauty dishes, hard light, reflective light and softboxes. The aim of the day is to understand how to use light with main lights, hair lights, kickers and background lights and to understand lighting ratios and depth of field. Creating great images that would be able to go in any portfolio. On the day there will be a professional model from one of the main agencies in the North West and a professional makeup artist.

10:00	Meet and greet at the studio over coffee and check kit
10.30	Using Softboxes
12:00	Lunch (lunch will be provided, please state if you are a vegitarian when booking)
12:30	Using Beauty Dishes
14:30	Coffee break
15:00	Using Hard light
16:00	Using reflective light.
17:00	Finish

A range of lighting techniques and skills will be demonstrated on this introduction to lighting workshop day, including:

This workshop is recommended for photographers that have an understanding of their camera, the rest we will teach you.

A fantastic understanding of how light works and some great images, a book of lighting notes from the days course that you will be able to refer back to and the confidence that you will be able to take stunning pictures.
