Kenro has unveiled the first range of Benro tripods, the Travel Angel Series, following the announcement that Kenro has been named the official UK distributor for the acclaimed Benro range.
The Travel Angel tripods are the perfect companion where weight, load capacity, folded size and maximum height are the primary considerations for the on-the-go photographer. The tripod legs can be inverted and folded back 180° making the Travel Angel small enough to carry just about anywhere.
This folded design makes them easy to carry and up to 20% smaller than conventional tripod designs. The Travel Angels are available in six different formats, three made from eight-layer carbon fibre and three constructed in high rigidity aluminium alloy with a 1.5mm wall thickness.
Each Travel Angel tripod features a reversible centre column that gives added flexibility and provides additional shooting angles. The adjustable legs can be independently locked which makes them perfect for shooting in cramped conditions or on irregular surfaces. The leg locks have dust resistant seals and the rubber feet of the tripods can be removed to enable optional stainless steel spiked feet to be attached..
"The Travel Angel is perfect for when you need to travel light.
" says Kenro Managing Director, Paul Kench. "The smallest carbon fibre version weighs in at a meagre 0.78 kg but supports loads of up to 6 kg so not only are they very light, they're super-strong! We have several other Benro lines in the pipeline and we'll be making further announcements shortly.
