A new DIY camera aimed at getting kids hands on with building their own technology has been launched.

The Bigshot camera gets kids hands on with the hardware used to build technology, enabling them to understand more clearly how their favourite gadgets work.

Key parts of the camera include a circuit board with 3 megapixel sensor, a lens wheel, LED flash, rechargable battery, and a dynamo and hand crank, which enables users to still take photos even when the battery is depleted.

The camera also features a 1.4 inch LCD panel, and the lens wheel has three optical modules, allowing you to take photos with a 'normal' lens, wide angle photos using a lens with a wide angle view of 40 degrees, and 3D photos using a stereo lens.

The camera is available online now for £58. For more information, visit the Bigshot camera website.
