MPB Photographic’s Managing Director Matt Barker walked away with the Best Young Entrepreneur Award, at the Brighton and Hove Business Awards (BAHBAs) 2008. Being a previous runner up in two categories in 2007, the judges were particularly impressed with the continual growth of MPB in the last year and how Matt’s dynamic approach to running the business has made 2008 an incredible year for MPB Photographic.

Now in their fifth year the BABHAs are one of the most recognised business award schemes in the south east. The Young Entrepreneur award is a particularly prestigious award, designed to reward young people who have a sense of vision and determination to create a business that is completely unique.

MPB Photographic, founded by Matt Barker in 2006, has grown to quickly become one of the market leaders in the UK for used photographic equipment, with a particular emphasis on Canon & Nikon digital SLR cameras and lenses. Through combining traditional values of photographic retail with dynamic e-commerce, MPB Photographic have taken the market for used photographic equipment in the UK to a new level.
