broncolor has announced the launch of a new state-of-the-art range of highly cost-effective Softboxes and Octaboxes for photographers.

The new products, billed as 'optimised light shapers for very precise lighting' are available in nine shapes and sizes and are compatible not just with broncolor lamp heads but also with the majority of flash lighting units from other manufacturers.

Chris Burfoot, broncolor UK manager said: "Our engineers have fulfilled their brief to develop both an innovative and a competitively-priced range of light shapers for our photographer customers.

The new, typically robust, bron Softboxes and Octaboxes are marketed in a total of nine different shapes and sizes, embracing square, rectangular and octagonal shapes, or as a strip – providing the optimum format options for any application.

These high performance light shapers will extend photographers' flash systems with numerous additional lighting effects for portrait, beauty/fashion or still life disciplines."

He added: "This exceptionally versatile and mobile range also comes with an exclusive option to mount three diffusers simultaneously- and our special internal coating process ensures very high efficiency."

broncolor says its new range is also much easier to construct and dismantle – thanks to new coloured markings on the pre-assembled tensioning rods and support ring.

A new 35x 60cm Softbox will cost £110 (ex Vat) A 75cm Octabox will cost £140 (ex VAT).
