BusesA bus spotter whose lifelong hobby was to take photographs of buses has been forced to give up his favourite pastime after being labelled as a terrorist and a paedophile by the public.

50-year-old Rob McCaffrey has been taking pictures of buses all over the world for the last forty years but says he has only ever faced problems of fear and suspicion in Britain and has been questioned by police officers twice in the last year.

With a collection of some 30,000 images of buses, trams and coaches, the pastime has been Rob's lifelong hobby. Now he has taken the decision to pack up his camera gear for good after suffering abuse from the public and bus drivers and interrogation from the police and says the continuous harassment is now preventing him from enjoying the activity any longer.

Absolutely dreadful! Even if you know your rights Joe Public and the police often don't.

Agreed, and a sad world.

Heard this chap being interviewed on Radio 4.

Such a shame.

How does one get identified as a terrorist paedophile?

Man: "What are you doing?"
bloke: "Photographing buses".
Man: "Oh my God! Grab your kids and run. He's got a Lowepro rucksack..."

Get one of those camera phones and pretend to text but take it that way, the image quality is dreadfull but it's jest a suggestion
