Calumet plans summer D-Day at The Worx - Calumet is set to run a summer Digital Day event at The Worx studio on July 3rd.
Key industry vendors and well-known speakers have been assembled for the trade show which will be free to professional and advanced amateur photographers.
Explained Calumet’s Frankie Munden “This unique Digital Day focuses totally on latest technology from leading players in the imaging industry. We’ll have events throughout the day across six studios and headed by top name speakers like black and white digital guru, Steve Macleod, camcorder expert Nigel Cooper and the SWPP’s Mike McNamee.”
She added: “Calumet’s digital specialist Andy Johnson will address workflow opportunities using Leaf software to control and edit colour and photographers will have the chance to shoot their own images on the day and enter a ‘live’ competition to win an Epson printer.”
Hasselblad plans to run a check and report clinic on site and Bowens will demonstrate its latest Studio in a Box 200 monolight system.
The event is free and the first 100 customers in attendance will receive special Calumet gift and gadget goodie bags. Photographers registering by email before June 26 can claim a free £5 Calumet gift voucher to be redeemed on the day.
Store manager John Murphy added: “Our winter event just before Christmas was a huge success and with the line up we have planned for July 3 we believe D-Day at The Worx will be the photo- event of the summer.”
