ePHOTOzine member Angi_Nelson has been commissioned by Canon to take promotional images with the 650D for its promotional release in Asia.
The images will be used in magazines, on billboards and online to promote Canon's new camera all over Asia and Indonesia from the end of June.
"I still can't believe Canon chose me to shoot images for their campaign, its an amazing honour and was such fun to do. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this happening to me, its all a bit surreal!" says Angi.
A keen enthusiast, Angi has always loved Canon cameras and that her images of frogs were spotted by Canon on Flickr. "Part of the proposed advertising campaign for the new 650D in Asia is the slogan 'ignite your senses', they wanted a frog sitting on a hand for one of the images to go with this theme, indicating the touch feature where you can both focus and take a photograph by touching the vari-angle screen."
