The first thing you notice about the Canon EOS-M when you pick it up is how compact it is, the second is it's rather plain, but functional styling, with a basic design on the back of the camera, it is very similar to other compact Canon Powershot cameras, such as the Canon Powershot S100.
With the 22mm EF-M lens the camera system is quite compact, and would be almost pocketable (depending on course of the size of your pockets), but with the 18-55mm kit-zoom lens, the camera is rather more chunky and suffers from the same fate as other mirrorless camera with large zoom lenses, where you tend to lose the size advantage.
We plan to review the camera when available, and with the same or similar APS-C sized sensor as the Canon EOS 650D we expect image quality to be impressive.
