A new arrival in the ePHOTOzine office this week is the Canon PowerShot SX50 HS with a massive 50x optical zoom lens. We haven't been able to test the full capacity of the lens yet, but have taken our ISO and white balance test shots, which you can see below. Come back soon to read our full review.

Impressive piece of kit !!!.....Landscapers 'Wide' to 'Birders' Tele....amazing !!
The ISO test shots look pretty good up to at least 1600, with some very clean
images, & the colour WB images all look very crisp !!......& what a cracking moon
shot, full stretch, wide open @ ISO 500.....wow !!
Surprisingly heavy at 595grms (lots of glass I suppose ??)....but still a hell of a
lot lighter than a DSLR + 1200 Tele !!!!!!!
