Canon receive 4 best product awards from TIPA - Canon has been recognised with four best product awards from the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) – the leading photo and imaging press association in Europe.

The EOS-1D Mark III received the Best D-SLR Professional award, the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM was named Best Professional Lens, the SELPHY ES1 took the Best Small Format Photo Printer prize, while the All-In-One Pixma MP810 was awarded Best Multifunction Photo Printer. The TIPA awards come at a time when Canon is in number one position in the Western European digital camera market for the fifth consecutive year, confirming Canon’s popularity with consumers and critics alike.

“We are delighted to receive this recognition from TIPA,” said Mogens Jensen, Head of Canon Consumer Imaging Europe. “Canon’s product development philosophy is based around creating innovative, attractive, class-leading products for all users, from complete beginners to leading professionals. This wide-ranging expertise is reflected in the products recognised by TIPA: from the professional EOS-1D Mark III to the consumer focused Selphy ES1 and Pixma MP810 photo printers.”
