Digital photography will never be the same again thanks to a partnership between Capture Eternity and PhotoBox. For the estimated 3 million UK households that now own a digital camera, there is finally a solution for the hundreds upon thousands of photos that lay dormant on computer drives together with all those "traditional" photos lost in forgotten albums and sleeves.

In a new deal announced today, Capture Eternity and PhotoBox will be working together to educate the masses to address the problem of image-overload and breathe life into all those photos, via party plan (remember Tupperware!).

Capture Eternity's goal is to help people "preserve nostalgia for life" by informing them, through photo parties, about the benefits of photo and video preservation and digitisation.

Capture Eternity's innovative and fun photo party format leverages the power of referral within a multi-level-marketing model, allowing Consultants to earn a substantial commission. At these parties, trained, independent and enthusiastic Consultants sell Capture Eternity's Entertainment Imaging products, including: A stunning "Photo Movie DVD", which recreates photos into a movie, with background music, zooming and panning effects; and an economically priced "video transfer" service, to preserve ageing video libraries onto DVD.

"Our photo parties are a lot of fun and allow anyone to earn a supplementary income by arranging fun get-togethers where they share fond photo memories and learn digital photography tips and tricks" Imran Jaffer, MD, Capture Eternity Ltd.

PhotoBox, the number one online photo-lab in the UK, is ideally positioned to benefit from the digital photography revolution, as customers can order prints, gifts and other photo-based products online.

Under the terms of the deal, Capture Eternity will market PhotoBox's gift items at its photo parties and PhotoBox will market Capture Eternity's entertaining Photo Movie DVD to its online customer base. However, the real benefits to both organisations will manifest when Capture Eternity promotes the use of its new affiliate site: www.ce.photobox.co.uk, to photo party consultants, hosts and guests. By providing educational tips and tricks in digital photography, Capture Eternity will be able to introduce the masses to the wonders of digitisation at fun and informative photo parties ….. move over Ann Summers!

Together, Capture Eternity and PhotoBox have "closed the loop", in photography. By shaking hands, the two companies now have the potential to address the problem of image-overload, a problem which can only grow, as 80% of UK households are expected to purchase a digital camera by 2007.

"We welcome this opportunity to work with Capture Eternity. Photo Parties are a unique way to reach and educate the masses." Graham Hobson, CEO, PhotoBox Ltd.
