When Casio released the EX-F1 in 2008 was the world's fastest camera at a speed of 60 frames per second. It opened a whole new market for Casio Exilim HS technology that captures motion that is too fast to perceive with the naked eye. Casio has since combined high-speed shooting with fast image processing technology, launched in 2010, the EX-ZR10 is based on the new processor Exilim Engine HS, a camera whose performance exceeded all conventional compact digital cameras in high-speed photography and filming.
With the new EX-ZR1000 Casio has succeeded in developing a compact digital camera that elegantly perpetuates all the moments that the user wants to capture. The development goal was "Triple Zero" where Casio has managed to create a new Exilim Engine HS system that virtually eliminates the time delays, focus problems and blurring caused by camera shake. With this new product is the third generation High Speed Exilim born.
EX-ZR1000 offers high-speed shooting with a start time of 0.99 seconds, fast autofocus of 0.15 seconds and a minimum 0.26 seconds between shots. The camera features a new user-friendly and intuitive menu control that makes photography a joy. Other innovations include a function call for manual zooming with your left hand, graphical indicators, a synchronized rotary controls and a swivel LCD screen that makes it easier to take pictures at different angles. These features make the camera easy and quick to use.
As a step in the evolution of Casio High Speed Exilim EX-ZR1000 is packed with new features to realize the "Triple Zero" goal. The camera has high-speed tracking that automatically focuses on moving subjects, even during continuous shooting. Total Focus Macro produces images where everything is in focus, from extreme close-up to background. HS NightShot eliminates camera shake in low-light environments, even at the maximum sensitivity level, ISO 25600.
The Casio Exilim will be available in October 2012.
