Cewe wins EISA Award - EISA has awarded Cewe Photobook with one of its prestigious awards in the photo category.
Press Release:The Cewe Photobook has won the European Photobook Award in the Photo category at the 2009 European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) awards.
Judges praised the Cewe Photobook for its user friendly and intuitive software, its extensive range of editing tools and the Photobook’s high quality finish.
The ceremony, which was held on 19th August in Oldenburg, Germany, celebrates the best multi media products available in Europe. The EISA awards is a truly international event; 50 editor-in-chiefs from leading trade publications in 19 European countries meet each year to decide which products evaluated in their magazines deserve a coveted EISA Award.
Dr Rolf Hollander, CEO of CeWe Color Group is delighted with the result, and comments, “The EISA award follows on from our recent first place listing in tests conducted by the German Consumer Federation. Winning independent recognition from two such prestigious organisations within the space of a few months has really cemented our position as a market leader on an international scale. However, we never take such accolades for granted; we are always striving to give our customers the best possible service, providing free access to the latest technology with an extensive range of editing tools – ensuring each Cewe Photobook is as unique as our customer.”
You can order Photobooks and other items from Cewe via the ePHOTOzine Print Service website.

The book bulge in the new photo paper albums disappears, as the pages lie flat when the CEWE photo book is opened 180 degrees wide. A new binding process is being used for the album pages, which allows the pages in an open photo paper album to lay flat, rather than bowing or arching up towards the spine. The photo book software for Windows, Linux and Mac is FREE: http://album.photo-book-printing.co.uk/
