New shoots in the garden - Spend the day with one of the worlds premier garden photographers, Clive Boursnell in the award winning Throckmorton Family Gardens.

A unique opportunity to spend the day with one of the worlds premier garden photographers, Clive Boursnell in the award winning Throckmorton Family Gardens at historic house Coughton Court in Warwickshire.
Clive will work with delegates individually and as a group to share his knowledge and experience on what makes a great photograph from close ups to garden views, with fresh thoughts on light and composition.
Clive Boursnell's haunting and evocative style has made him a much sought after garden photographer and his work is regularly featured in Country Life, The Sunday Times, Vogue and Country Living magazines. Clive has also published many books and is regularly commissioned by English Heritage, The National Trust and Landmark Trust, the Royal Opera House and many private country houses and gardens.
The Throckmorton Gardens are heralded as one of the finest gardens in Britain with the magnificent walled garden featuring the award-winning Rose Labyrinth with all its concentration on roses and magnificent herbaceous borders, early summer garden, bog garden, extensively planted orchard, Elizabethan knot garden and red and white gardens. The Lake and the riverside walk offer endless vistas and as a subject matter, these gardens will have you spoiled for choice.
Clive has been photographing these gardens since their infancy in preparation for a forthcoming book that will follow the fascinating development of the gardens.
Itinerary:
10am arrive: Introduction from Clive Boursnell and Head Gardener Matthew Wall
10.30-12.30: Group and individual tuition and inspiration from Clive
12.30-1.30: Lunch
1.30-2.30: Review and discussion of the morning's work
2.30-4pm: Second phase practical workshop revisiting subjects based on morning feedback
4pm-5pm: Review and selection of finest images for display at the Throckmorton Family Gardens Plant Centre
