Cokin Colour compensating filtersAfter several years of development, Cokin have launched a new range of "Colour compensating" filters.

This type of filter is widely used by professionals to compensate for colour casts and reduce a specific wave length. Until now the consumer was offered a choice of either gelatine or acetate filters, both extremely fragile, or expensive alternatives. This new range from Cokin now offers the consumer a durable filter at an affordable price.

The first filters available are the secondary colours which are most commonly used: Cyan, Magnenta and Yellow. Each filter is available in 6 different strengths from 5 to 50cc and filters can be used singularly or in any combination.

Further colours will be available in the future, namely primary colours: Red, Green and Blue.
