Corel announce licence deal - Corel are offering an extended range of creativity and productivity software to educational institutions with a £15 discount for first time purchases of the CCL (Corel Licence for Learning).
Press Release:
Corel Corporation are pleased to announce that through an exclusive licensing offer available during BETT 2008, the world's largest educational technology event, an extended range of creativity and productivity software is being made available to all educational institutions.
At BETT 2008, Corel is offering an incredible 15% off for all first-time purchases of the CLL – Corel License for Learning – an efficient, renewable annual subscription, which has been extended to include brand new educational products. In addition to the three products which are automatically included within the License: CorelDraw Graphics Suite (for integrated graphic design, page layout, image-editing and tracing tools), Corel Painter (the digital art room in a box) and Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo (for professional photographic images), the new CLL programme offers the option to add-on up to five additional products from the new extended range. The offer is available until 28th February 2008.
Available to purchase at a minimum level of 20 computers, the extended range now includes the following products: CorelDesigner Technical Suite (for aspiring technical graphic designers), Corel® VideoStudio (for professional video editing), Corel WordPerfect (the one-stop office suite), Corel WinZip Pro and Corel WinDVD (digital entertainment software). With this newly extended offer, Corel’s cost effective education portfolio is perfectly suited for photography-, design & technology- and art-related courses as well as all-purpose curricular activities.
“With Corel, you can introduce students to the professional visual communications tools and techniques used in businesses, helping to give them a step-up in their future chosen career” explains Jo Levens, Programs Director EMEA.
Corel invites attendees to visit the stand (L18) to try out the complete product offering, witness product demonstrations and see for themselves how they are well suited to an academic environment. Corel’s software range includes innovative digital imaging, graphics, vector illustration, page layout, web graphics, and art capabilities.
