Couple sue wedding photographer and win

Not the type of image Marc and Sylvia Day allegedly received.

When people receive their wedding photographs they usually cry with joy but this was not the case for Marc and Sylvia Day.

The couple, who paid Gareth Bowers of Fresh Images £1,450 for his photography and video services, could do nothing but gasp in shock and cry.

According to reports, only 22 out of 404 images were satisfactory with most of the shots featuring badly lit scenes, heads chopped off and obscured subjects.

Marc and Sylvia were so upset they took Gareth Bowers to court for breach of contract and last week, a judge at the County Court in Ponterfract agreed with Marc and Syliva saying the images were "inappropriate".

Gareth Bowers was ordered to reimburse the couple £500 and to pay £450 in damages, £170 in court fees and £100 for the loss of earnings of the couple.
