Lakeland Photographic Holidays will be holding a beginner photography course for young people
later this year.
The workshop, which will take place from Monday 30 July until Friday 3 August 2012, is ideal for those who have signed up for the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award Residential, or young people starting a photography A-level or a new photography Diploma/Degree.
The course is suitable for students of 11years (year 7) and older, although all students under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students from the age of 16 are welcome to stay without supervision.
John Gravett has worked with a range of young people from beginner’s photography courses with Year 6 Primary School children, through to youngsters on their Duke of Edinburgh, with the Gold Award requiring four-day residential workshops.
Both John and Gail Gravett hold current Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) certificates and are very conscious of safe guarding the young people in their care.
The course, which is priced at £470, includes 4-nights accommodation.
