GigaPan have beefed-up their photo system to create the Epic 100 which can be used with larger point and shoot cameras (max weight with camera and lens is 3lbs) to create huge images from a group of stitched together photographs.
The Epic 100 takes the job of creating panoramas out of the photographers hands and into a machine. It automatically moves and tilts your camera to take however many photographs are required to create a large-scale image.
Once the process is complete it downloads the photographs and stitches them them together to create images with thousands of megapixels.
The company are currently working on a GigaPan DSLR Imager.
The Epic 100 is priced at $449 (approximately £300).
