Handling & Performance
The C-Loop is a strap mounting attachment that screws to your camera's tripod socket to provide strap mounting slots at the base of the camera rather than its usual top-plate eyelets.
It has a 12mm strap eyelet that's wide enough for most common strap systems.
The advantage is a strap can be attached that won't get in the way of your hands, face or lens as you use the camera or when you switch from horizontal to vertical format.
It's also designed to be used with Custom SLR's M-Plate.
Once in place it allows you to shoot in horizontal or vertical position without the strap getting in the way and it does this well.

From resting to action, the strap doesn't get in the way thanks to the C-Loop, and when used with Custom SLR's M-Plate you can go from carrying to tripod mounting without having to remove the strap. But that does make the system expensive as the M-Plate is an extra £60 on top of the £35 C-Loop - and you need a strap!
Value For Money£35 plus the cost of a strap (£25) brings this into the same price bracket as the popular Black Rapid system, but this has an advantage that if you buy the M-Plate you can attach the strap and then switch between strap and tripod without having to release the strap.
