The flagship of the range is the Giga Vu Pro which has been designed around every photographers digital workflow with a 40Gb hard drive, 3.8inch TFT touchscreen and a host of professional features.

Image management facilities include Levels and Channels display, as well as facilities for adding Copyright or other information to the Exif data, plus the ability to change the image prefix for each file or batch to enable easy identification when returning to base.

The Giga Vu Pro is also very fast, with display speeds for a typical 6 million pixel JPEG of less than a second and the capability to handle files from the largest Digital SLRs available. When scrolling through images the unit caches adjacent files so even the biggest images display almost instantly. Even RAW data can be viewed from most digital SLRs including all Kodak, Canon and Nikon models with a zoom facility which takes you all the way to pixel level for checking the smallest of details.

For the new breed of WiFi enabled cameras, a WiFi adapter is available as an accessory enabling photographers to transfer images wirelessly to their Giga Vu Pro. The media card interface is Compact Flash with other cards being supported by optional adapters and there is a USB 2.0 interface for connection directly to both PC and Mac computers plus a PictBridge compatible connection for direct printing via compatible printers.

You can even store & play music (mp3) and movies (MPEG & DivX) using the screen and built in speaker, or via the TV and Audio outputs.
