DE Photo, the Surrey based digital sports and events photography specialist, is expanding its operations once again. From April the company will be keeping British Gymnastics (BG) in the picture by acting as a BG official photographer.
DE Photo will provide British Gymnastics' events with an on-site service at many of the major championships. Audience members can browse through the database of competition shots on a computer and enjoy full screen previews, as well as using on-the-spot printing facilities.
Mike Moore, managing director of DE Photo, says: "With 33 branches throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, we are in a position to offer unrivalled coverage and unequalled quality nationwide."
Trevor Low, editor of The Gymnast Magazine and MTC (Men's Technical Committee) chair, agrees: "DE Photo is providing BG with a great resource for event organisers, gymnasts, clubs and parents. It's a major step forward to be able to offer superb images across the board for the many competitions taking place all over the country."
In today's climate of concern, children's sports events organisers frequently ban photography, depriving parents of treasured mementos of their offspring's sporting glory. But, with the assurance of DE Photo's trusted professionalism, tiny tumblers can concentrate on achieving the perfect performance - safe in the knowledge that their magical moments on the mat are captured forever by DE's fully trained, CRB-checked professionals.
Furthermore, BG audience members won't miss any vital action as DE photographers take between 500 and 2,000 shots at an event.
Ordering prints is fast and easy - customers can walk away with a photo of their choice within a minute. For those unable to attend the event, photos can also be ordered online afterwards. Parents can rest assured that all images stored on DE Photo's database are download-protected for security reasons.
DE Photo can cater for smaller scale events, such as school competitions, and the company helps support fundraising activities by giving generous commission on orders.
