Press Release:

DeluxGear, LLC announces the 2010 Lens CradleTM. The Lens Cradle features secure, horizontal lens support providing comfort to the photographer and protection to the gear. It reduces repair and replacement costs and the wear-and-tear that reduce resale value. The Lens Cradle is fitted with a universal, dual mounting platform for use with any camera and lens with a tripod collar. Made of a durable, polycarbonate and autograde ABS blend, it supports the heaviest lens, yet remains lightweight and easy-to-use.

The new Lens Cradle offers a variety of mounting options. The most common position is with the arc up, in a cradle fashion. Invert the arc and the Lens Cradle becomes an instant bipod, converting previous obstacles into stable platforms.

When the camera is not being held, the Lens Cradle prevents lens-to-surface contact, protecting the lens from grit, moisture, and scratches. The end of the lens remains elevated by the Lens Cradle, never touching the ground. Whether used with a standard 2-point strap or DeluxGear’s 4-point Expedition Neoprene Camera StrapTM, the Lens Cradle design reduces physical fatigue and problems with lens-body contact.

Retail price for the Lens Cradle is $39.99. A Combo Pack of the Lens Cradle and 4-point Expedition Strap is $54.99. The Expedition Strap retails separately for $24.99. For more information please visit the DeluxGear website.
