R.P.S. East Midlands Group's events in the 2003/2004 season will be held, as last year, at the South Notts College facility. Meetings begin at 10 a.m; places (£10) and buffet lunch (£4.50) can be reserved by

Sunday September 21st
Sid Pearce FRPS will be showing prints from his many travels. His work is all digital these days, in both B/W and colour. Shot on a Nikon Coolpix 5000 he produces award winning images. Sid has produced a book on the creative use of PhotoShop and you can also see his work at: freespace.virgin.net/sid.pearce1

Sunday October 19th
Graham Whistler FRPS FBIPP, a professional photographer who hasn't used film for nearly 2 years, will talk about his 40 years as an advertising and commercial photographer. Speaking about the use of Photoshop from when he started using it 12 years ago and his change from film to 100% digital capture in last 3 years.
Graham will also demonstrate studio capture direct into Nikon software -using fire wire. If your are shooting digitally and want to learn more, or even just thinking about getting into digital, this is a day NOT to be missed.
