An entrepreneurial person has designed and built their own battery grip and shutter release for the compact Samsung NX10 camera system. As Samsung do not sell an official battery grip for the Samsung NX system, they thought the only solution was to build their own system. Samsung Imaging's blog has full details of the process involved in order to modify the camera to accept the battery grip. It comes with a large warning advising readers not to try this themselves.

I have this cam as a second use cam, but have drawn more towards it over the last year. and am contemplating getting rid of my slr :-( but this grip idea would be good! to allow more hands on and camera stability 
I'm going to try it out. will repost once's I've try'd this out.
