Durrell and MyMemory competition closes soon

A range of exciting prizes, including a trip to Madagascar, are up for grabs as digital specialists MyMemory launch a photography competition in association with the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.

The first prize winner will win a place on a Durrell-led exhibition to Madagascar where they will visit the charity’s conservation projects and enjoy a range of wildlife photography opportunities in a stunning landscape. In addition they will receive a Canon 400D camera, a top of the range Sandisk Extreme IV memory card, a Lowepro camera case and Manfrotto camera equipment.

The first runner-up prize is a five-star trip to Jersey including a tour of Durrell’s headquarters and wildlife park; the second runner-up will receive a selection of Sandisk products; and the top 12 photos will secure a place in a desktop calendar.

Entries are open from 4th June to 30th July during which time entrants will be able to upload one photo onto the MyMemory website. The public will vote for their favourites, with the 12 photos receiving the most votes being pooled into a final that will be judged by an influential person in the photography business.

Voting ends on Sunday 29th July at 11:59pm, at which time voting will begin. Everyone who enters will automatically be credited with 10% discount code for savings on all SanDisk Extreme cards and all Lowepro cases.
