It's time to announce the winners of our May competition where 3 copies of DxO Optics Pro 9 Elite, and 2 copies of DxO Optics Pro 9 Standard were up for grabs.
You really did show us your very best portraits, with some stunning entries portraying all kinds of emotion. The judges at DxO had a really tough time picking just 5 winning images, but they finally came to a decision, picking the following lucky winners:

tadphaleuday - The judges over at DxO thought tadphaleuday's image 'Smoke Bubble' was taken at just the right moment. 'It's a very natural portrait, and we could almost smell the smoke!' they commented.
'Thoughtful Gaze' by deltonob
deltonob - The judges felt deltonob's image 'Thoughtful Gaze' really captured emotion. 'A strong and contrasted portrait, a perfectly captured stare.' they said.
'A monentary break' by puneet30
puneet30 - puneet30's image 'A momentary break' stood out to the judges as it captured the subject's attitude perfectly. 'An intense contrast, with razor-sharp depth of field', they enthused.

'Little red riding hood' by Istvan
Istvan - The judges at DxO thought Istvan's image 'Little red riding hood' worked really well because of the crop used. 'The use of red in the image works really well', they said.
'Peter MMA Fighter' by Navyboy4016
Navyboy4016 - Navyboy4016's image 'Peter MMA Fighter' impressed the judges with the lighting. 'The short depth of field works really well, suggesting this boxer is in the middle of a fight.'
