DxO Labs has announced the immediate availability of DxO Optics Pro v8.3.2 for Mac and Windows.
This upgrade allows DxO Optics Pro 8 to provide support for the latest expert consumer DSLR, the 20.2-million pixel EOS 70D, as well as for Sony's full-format compact, the DSC-RX1R.
Based on an exclusive process of prior laboratory calibration, DxO Optics Pro 8 includes many powerful and automatic tools for processing RAW and JPEG images. The software provides the most advanced lens corrections on the market, the best tool for adjusting light and contrast, and precise and accurate color management.
DxO Optics Pro v8.3.2 also benefits from the addition of new DxO Optics Modules. 445 new camera/lens combinations round out the library, which today counts more than 14,000 available DxO Optics Modules.
DxO Optics Modules contain copious information about the characteristics of each camera and lens. This unique database allows DxO Optics Pro 8 to automatically correct distortion, vignetting, chromatic aberrations, and lens softness with an unrivaled level of quality.
DxO Optics Pro 8 Standard Edition is available for £119, and DxO Optics Pro 8 Elite Edition is available for £239. (Suggested retail prices, including VAT)
This upgrade is free for all owners of DxO Optics Pro 8, as well as for all photographers who acquired a DxO Optics Pro 7 license on or after September 1, 2012.
