EIZO MonitorEIZO has announced its collaboration with industry leading display calibration software manufacturer Light Illusion.

The partnership has lead to the manufacturers successfully fully integrating Light Illusions LightSpace CMS calibration system into EIZO ColorEdge monitors.

Victor Aberdeen, UK Sales Manager of EIZO ColorEdge Monitors says, "Extending the colour management of LightSpace CMS to include the EIZO ColorEdge range of monitors will provide production companies with a consistent and accurate production quality system that can automatically calibrate the desired colour LUTs within the unique EIZO ColorEdge self calibrating monitors."

EIZO ColorEdge monitors feature custom calibration 3D LUT capabilities that can import calibration LUTs created via Light Illusion's LightSpace CMS calibration and LUT management application to generate calibration and LUTs for easy import and use on EIZO ColorEdge monitors. This adds a whole new level of LUT flexibility for EIZO, allowing custom user calibration settings, user created colour spaces and custom LUT manipulation.

The ability of LightSpace CMS to integrate with a wide range of popular probes enables users to chose their own calibration workflows and level of calibration investment.

Steve Shaw, CEO of Light Illusion is delighted by EIZO's adoption of LightSpace CMS. Steve said: "In discussion with EIZO we suggested how LightSpace CMS could assist with both the calibration of their monitors as well as providing advanced LUT manipulation tools, and it has been extremely satisfying to see the results bear this out."
