ePHOTOzine member GMCS67 has been crowned this week's Photo of the Week winner with his image 'Wreck Of The Sunbeam'.
The Photo of the Week (POTW) is chosen by the staff here at ePHOTOzine, and here's why we thought 'Wreck Of The Sunbeam' by GMCS67 deserved to win this week's accolade:
This image has really beautiful pastel shades. It's calming, and almost gives a glimpse into the future as to what will happen if man's influence on earth were to end.
The rays of the sun streaming through the clouds almost signify hope and a new beginning. Details in the foreground and the background of this picture make it really interesting to the eye, no matter where you look, meaning you can study it for a while and still not get bored of looking at it. It's full of lovely pastel tones reminiscent of the Spring season. A really masterful image.
POTW winners currently receive a £100 voucher from Albelli. Take a look at the Photo of the Week Gallery where all shots that have received the award are displayed.
