ePHOTOzine member ZanetaFrenn is this week's Photo of the Week winner.
The Photo of the Week (POTW) is chosen by the staff here at ePHOTOzine, and here's why we thought 'Henry's beautiful world' by ZanetaFrenn deserved the accolade this week:
The team loved how this eerie portrait has an almost ghost-like feel to it. The depth of field used draws the eye directly to the girl's face, yet leaves just the right amount of detail in the background. The rows of trees create a beautiful frame, which again helps to keep the focus on the girl and her dog, and the warm autumnal tones contrast nicely with the blackness of the girl's dress and the dog's fur.
It has a mysterious and moody feel, and the girl just 'pops' from the frame. It gets you thinking about the story behind the photo, which keeps you coming back to look at it again and again. It's a very well composed and thought out shot.
POTW winners currently receive a £100 voucher from Albelli. Take a look at the Photo of the Week Gallerywhere all shots that have received the award are displayed.
The Panasonic Lumix TZ70 offers a 30x optical zoom lens, built-in Wi-Fi, a high-resolution electronic viewfinder as well as a lower resolution 12.1 megapixel sensor. Say what? Yes, a lower resolution sensor.
