ePHOTOzine's sending one lucky member off to the FIFA World Cup

So, without further ado... ePHOTOzine member Gerard Sexton (gerdoms) has won the fantastic three-night, four-day trip to South Africa, for two, where he'll get the opportunity to be pitch side at a World Cup match!

The judge said: "Good sports photography is often about precise timing and you can't get a better moment than this. The cricket ball splits the wickets and the bat catches the ground sending up a spray of earth all in perfect unison to deliver a perfectly timed action shot."

Gerard, who's recently decided to focus more on sports photography, said: "It's come somewhat of a surprise. In fact, I thought it was a wind-up!"

As well as jetting off to South Africa to stay in a 4 star hotel and receiving two tickets for one of the World Cup matches Gerard also wins a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX5 camera. He's now got the difficult decision of deciding who to take!
