Epson announce the Perfection 1260 Photo scanner

The Perfection 1260 is a new A4 scanner from Epson.

• Optional 35mm Transparency unit (Included with Epson Perfection 1260 Photo)

With an optical resolution of 1200x2400dpi and 48-bit colour depth, Epson say high quality scanning has never been easier. The scanner features four QuickStart buttons that enable scan to print, scan to web, scan to email and scan to application at the touch of a button.

The scanner comes in two versions, one for general image and document scanning, and the Perfection 1260 Photo provides a 65mmx80mm transparency unit for scanning 25mm negatives, film and transparencies.

Software bundled with both new scanners includes Epson Twain 5.6 with a Full Auto mode. ArcSoft PhotoImpression 4 is also included.
