Press Release:

epsonEpson, the leader in digital imaging, will display and demonstrate the latest in photo printing, scanning and projection at Photokina 2008. Whether you are a professional or amateur photographer, a scrapbooker, starting out in home photo printing or even a home cinema enthusiast, Epson will have something of interest to show to you.

Professional photo
The professional printing and graphics area on Epson’s stand features two live studios for commercial and portrait photography and fine art printing. Each highlights the role Epson technology plays in these environments. In addition to its large format printers, Epson will demonstrate its range of software applications aimed at the photographic studio.

Professional and semi-professional photographers can test Epson’s Multimedia Storage Viewers, featuring up to 160GB storage capacity for image backup as well as Epson’s market leading Photo Fine Premia LCD screen.

There is also a photo gallery so you can appreciate the creativity and skill behind the photos while also examining the quality of output from Epson’s award-winning products and ink technologies.

Consumer photo
Whether you want to print wirelessly from your computer or directly from your digital camera memory card or camera phone there is a demonstration to meet your needs. You will also find Epson’s latest A4 photo printers on the stand, which combine style and substance.

Epson is also dedicating a section of its booth to album making so if you are considering documenting your family history or you are a scrapbooking hobbyist, on display will be a range of paper, printers and ideas to help you make your albums fun for generations to come.

Debuting at Photokina is Epson’s new scanner, the Perfection V300. This model offers high-quality photo and film scanning with low power consumption thanks to Epson ReadyScan LED technology.

Home Cinema
Epson will also demonstrate its latest projector line-up for both business and home cinema. If you wish to watch movies, project premium quality photo slide shows or business presentations, Epson has a projector to meet your needs. As a manufacturer of the Three Panel Liquid Crystal Display (3LCD panel) all Epson projectors feature this premium projector technology, delivering bright and vivid pictures, true-to-life colours and faithfully reproduced images.

Barbara Kuhr, Epson Europe says, “The Epson booth at Photokina has become renowned over the years as a hub of photo and projection activity. We are set to increase this reputation with a new range of innovative products being demonstrated on our booth. It has been specially designed with our customers in mind from professional photographers to those new to digital photo printing. We are looking forward to demonstrating and sharing our latest products with visitors to Photokina 2008.
