Epson Stylus Photo 830, 915, 925 and 1290S printers unveiled

Epson Stylus Photo 830

Epson say the Stylus Photo 830 caters for the home market and first time digital camera owner.

The Stylus Photo 830 will produce prints that shouldn't fade for at least 25 years with Epson media. Advanced features include border free printing, resolution up to 5760dpi and Variable Sized Droplet technology.

Using 6 colour Inks the Stylus 830 is quoted by Epson as having fast Print speeds, up to 14ppm Mono and 13.7ppm Colour.

The Stylus 830 comes with PhotoQuicker Software and Print Image Framer.

Epson Stylus Photo 915

Main features:

• Standalone printing via PCMCIA slot
• Adapters for PCMCIA supplied
• Six colour inks
• Borderless edge-to-edge printing
• Up to 25 years lightfastness with Epson media
• Resealable ink cartridge valves
• Optional monitor attachment
• USB connectivity

The Stylus Photo 915 offers a PCMCIA slot which will allow you to use most memory cards with it via a card adaptor.

It comes complete with a paper roll holder and allows edge-to-edge printing. It is another six colour inkjet and judging by Epson's quoted print speeds alone is slower than the Stylus Photo 830.

Epson Stylus Photo 925

• Roll paper holder and auto cutter
• Print speeds of 8.5ppm mono, 8.5ppm colour
• Resealable ink cartridge valves
• USB Connectivity

A roll holder on the Epson Stylus Photo 925 is combined with an automatic cutter. Together with the borderless printing, this system should make it easy to create prints that look and feel like traditional photographs.

The Epson Stylus Photo 1290S is capable of printing edge-to-edge images up to A3+ size. With a 2880dpi resolution and Ultra Micro Dot 4pl Variable Sized Droplet Technology Epson say the finest photographs are produced.
