Photographers can join Drew Gardner and Miss Aniela at the stunning Weston Park country estate for a once in a lifetime photo opportunity that will last for four days. Set in the idyllic Shropshire countryside, this fashion shoot organised by PODAS (Phase One Digital Artists Series) is set to be a career boosting opportunity for any budding photographer.

This unique and exclusive model shoot is happening from 10 - 14 September 2011 and places are very limited.

This high demand shoot, priced at $4800 (£2928 at the current exchange rate), has several luxurious touches included in the price, like the chance to shoot with a PhaseOne 645DF with the new IQ60 digital back with lighting from ProPhoto, all inclusive hotel accommodation, two of your own prints and a camera bag. World renowned photographers Drew Gardner and Miss Aniela aim to make the event as beneficial as possible for photographers. Drew has been a photographer for 30 years and has produced some stunning high- end fashion images while Miss Aniela has produced fabulous fine art pictures of models in obscure and alluring settings.

The shoot aims to get photographers new and old to explore new avenues of photography and different concepts. It aims to open photographer's horizons in the field of Portrait and fashion photography.

Tell me how can this price be justified and what could you possibly learn from it that looking at fashion mags wont tell you, I'm stunned.

I do not think looking through a fashion magazine is going to teach you anything about using Phase One equipment / software ( Capture One )

Quote: Participants will use a Phase One DF camera system with a 60 megapixel IQ160 back

Probably not going to see the quality uploading the shots into your epz gallery at 600 x 600 size Sad

In terms of price, and considering the whole package, I think it compares quite favourably with other workshops / holidays.

Rent the Phase One from any reputable firm, they will probably be able to instruct you on basically processing the image on your computer, as far as taking photo,s with it, well it's a camera just like any other be it dig or full plate film.

£195 a day including back and body £35 for an 80 mm lens plus vat per day, get a model from a number of model websites for free and see what you can do, in fact I feel a challenge coming on.Wink

BarrieNeilPhotography

For an extra 50 quid, you get a model who doesn't look as if she is trying to get a stone out of her shoe... fools and money etc etc

This is the new professional photography me thinks. Just look around and see how many so called professional snappers are now just professional authors and professional workshop organisers. Smile
